For engineers

Work for U.S. companies from Brazil — full time, in dollars

How do I join?

HireBrazilDevs places senior Brazilian software engineers full time on U.S. product teams. You work directly with one client, on U.S. business hours, paid monthly in dollars through the studio, under a written contract with 30 days notice both ways. The process is written first: a short application, a written exchange, a 60-minute pairing session on real code and a technical conversation in English. No phone screens.

What you get

What we look for

How it works

01 Apply in writing

The form below, ten minutes. Links matter more than adjectives: GitHub, LinkedIn, something you built.

02 Written exchange

We reply by email within a few business days with two or three questions about your experience. Answer when it suits you.

03 Pairing session — 60 minutes

Real code, live, with one of us. We watch the reasoning, not the syntax. No take-home assignments.

04 English conversation

A technical conversation in English, unscripted. This is the step most people worry about and the one that matters most to clients.

05 Pool, then a match

You enter our pool and get your own portal: your profile (with a writing assistant that turns your Portuguese into professional English), the roles you are presented to with the client's brief, and a 2–3 minute video you record answering it. When a U.S. role fits, we present you; the client proposes interview times in writing, you mark the ones that work, and you decide.

Apply

Ten minutes. We read every application and reply in writing. Applying is not a job offer — it puts you in the pool for matching roles.

We keep your application for 12 months and never share it outside the studio and the clients we present you to, with your consent.

Frequently asked questions

Is applying a job offer?

No. Entering the pool means we will present you when a matching role comes up. We only place engineers when there is a real, funded role on the client side, and we tell you honestly how many of those we have in your stack.

How much does it pay?

A fixed monthly amount in U.S. dollars, agreed in writing before your first placement. It depends on seniority and stack, and it is set so that it beats the Brazilian market for the same level — that is the point of the model for you, and the cost saving for the client comes from the difference between the two markets, not from squeezing you.

CLT or PJ?

Engineers work with the studio as independent contractors (PJ). We can walk you through the practical side in writing before you sign anything.

Do I need to be in Curitiba?

No. Anywhere in Brazil with a reliable connection. Most of the team is remote.

Will I have to be on calls with the studio?

Rarely. The studio works in writing. The pairing session and the English conversation are live; after that, your calls are with your client team, as part of normal work.
